With two little ones, a bustling joint family, and lots of household responsibilities, Summaiya’s days are full. She used to teach but it was difficult being away from home after her children were born. Since joining Zaggy, she now splits her time between school runs, cleaning, and crochet.
Curious and always learning, she first discovered crochet online. Through Zaggy, she learnt how to crochet toys and was, so to speak, hooked. When she made her first toy, cow at the Zaggy training, she says, "I couldn't believe that I could make something like this!"
When her husband’s work became uncertain, crochet became not only a creative outlet, but also a way to help contribute to her family. She says it keeps her mind relaxed and her heart busy, a little daily magic stitched between the chores.
